FAQs
Qasil Hair Care
Your questions about washing, rinsing and finding a routine that suits your hair.
Can I use Qasil powder as a shampoo?
Qasil can be tried as an occasional alternative hair wash. Mix with water into a smooth, loose paste, apply to wet hair, gently massage through, and rinse thoroughly. Results vary, and some people find powder residue difficult to rinse out.
How often should I use it?
Start with one wash and see how your hair feels before repeating. If it suits your hair, try once a week initially rather than at every wash. Use less often if your hair feels dry.
What about different hair types?
Qasil is demonstrated in curly-hair wash routines, but this doesn’t mean it will suit every curl pattern or hair type. Try a small section first, especially if your hair is dry, colour-treated, or prone to tangling.
How can I reduce powder residue?
- Mix the paste thoroughly to minimise lumps.
- Wet your hair fully before applying.
- Rinse in sections under running water, gently separating strands with your fingers and working from roots to ends.
- Check your scalp and thicker sections, and continue rinsing until no visible powder or gritty feeling remains.
What if I have very dry hair?
Follow the product’s existing caution: do not use Qasil frequently on very dry hair or skin. Use sparingly, follow with your usual conditioner if needed, and reduce or stop use if your hair feels drier.
Qasil Face Care
Simple guidance for mixing, applying and rinsing your Qasil face mask.
How do I use Qasil as a face mask?
Mix one spoon of Qasil with water to create a smooth, even paste. Apply to the face, avoiding the eyes, then rinse thoroughly. Follow the directions on your product packaging.
How often should I use it on my face?
Try one application first and see how your skin feels before repeating. Do not use frequently if you have very dry skin, as noted in the product caution. Reduce or stop use if your skin feels dry or irritated.
Is it suitable for every skin type?
Skin responses vary, so do not assume Qasil will suit everyone. Try a small area first before applying to the whole face, particularly if your skin is sensitive. Stop use if irritation occurs.
How do I rinse off the mask?
- Wet the paste with lukewarm water.
- Gently rinse it away without scrubbing, keeping it out of your eyes.
- Check around the hairline and nose for remaining powder.
- Pat your face dry with a clean towel.
What if my skin feels dry afterwards?
Use your usual moisturiser if it suits your skin, and reduce or stop Qasil use if dryness continues. Do not use Qasil frequently on very dry skin.
